I am a 11 year survivor of breast cancer. I have been a patient of Dr. David McCoy's since 2006. When I was diagnosed with cancer I saw Dr. McCoy and saw how professional and caring is . He is a wonderful doctor who is not only a surgeon to the patient but is a very caring person. He went above and beyond the role of a doctor. I had a situation that he was watching during my first few weeks after surgery . He had to be out of town and was so concerned that he told us what to watch for in case my condition worsen. He made arrangements and treatment plans with another doctor to take over in the event he wasn't able to be in town to take care of me.
Dr. McCoy has been my surgeon for 8 years. He has the best bedside manner of any doctor I have ever been to. He has performed 4 surgeries on me and each time he was calming and reassuring and I felt confident that he would do his very best to assure that all went well. I am so thankful for Dr. McCoy's dedication to his profession and his willingness to go above and beyond to care for his patients.
I got ill and my husband made the phone call to the other doctor as we had planned in case of an emergency. The doctor knew exactly what was going on and took steps to get me to the hospital for treatment. He knew all about my case because Dr. Mc Coy informed him of my condition . Everything turned out great .Thanks to the concern shown by Dr. McCoy
You don't have a long waiting period to see him and he doesn't wait for questions. He tells you all you need to know.
