This only plantation I know of that is open that is so old.
Great tour of the house! Even my 5 year old was captured audience.
Very delightful experience and lots of fun facts about the history of the plantation and surrounding area and occupants
Tour guides were nice and gave us information about this rich cultural experience.
The house and other buildings are in great shape, and made from Cypress.
Beautiful home and grounds.
This tour was fascinating! The young lady who took us on the tour through the house was amazing. I cannot remember her name, young lady with glasses. She definitely made the tour. All the details she told us,and how upbeat she was.
We toured in 2016. I was impressed with the history behind this plantation. The original owner built his house and grew sugar cane, first under Spanish rule, then French rule, and finally, under US rule.
