I attended high school here for 1 year. It was a good school. The teachers are decent. They have a great gifted education program here. There are many extra curricular activities and clubs offered here. The football team never has been very good but the stadium is nice.

It's Bolton. That's about it

I am a graduate of Bolton, class of 2005. My grandmother, mother, aunt, and cousins are all Bolton alumni. The education we received from this fantastic community school has launched us on to amazing careers and has groomed us to be involved community citizens. Win honor and win fame!

If you’re thinking about going to this school, just walk away now. This place is infested with a black mold in the air conditioning systems, has a multitude of electrical problems. Examples: fire alarms repeatedly turning on and off , power shutting off to the classrooms at random intervals. A rat problem that people try to play off as a ghost story, and when asked the janitorial staff were asked where the best place to find rats in the school they answered with the two gyms and the cafeteria. One of the classrooms has been shut down due to leakage for months with no attempt to repair it. The walls in several of the rooms and near the staircases are coming apart and have something growing underneath the paint (probably mold). The food in the cafeteria has on several occasions been unhealthy for the students the reasons being not they are distasteful but that it was either rotten to the point of being able to see it from several yards away (not exaggerating), or it was undercooked to point of being raw. Among its health hazards Bolton has some very aggressive teachers in required subjects being that of English 1 and 2, and Chemistry/Biology. In the case of the Chemistry/ Biology teacher, Janelle Coffman, she is overly aggressive with her students and often yells at students in class, and her lessons are fast paced and are hard to understand. Though I never had the English teacher Ms. Monroe, anyone I’ve spoken to about her and had no good word to share about her or her teaching methods. So in summary if you are thinking about doing anything involving this place it would be best it be reported to a Health department instead,

Graduated in 1961 and still have great memories of my 5 years at Bolton. The class of 1961 was the last to walk the halls for 5 years because there were no junior high facalities when we started our freshman year. Go Bears !
