Best bar in Alexandria. Other bars are run down hangouts for immature drunk idiots. Topshelf is an upscale, friendly and comfortable enviroment.
Great atmosphere. Good prices. Great service.....but don't have more than the legal limit. There are state troopers hiding where you can't see as you drive away.....got a DUI after 2 drinks there last year.
Lovely lounge area with comfortable seating. Nice dim lighting and cheap strong daquiris. Friendly Bartender remembers you after being there a couple of times.
Few places around are as well maintained and we'll managed as this. While it looks like the hippest bar in town, it's clientele skews towards the middle. If our have people visiting town, this is a good place to visit. Thursdays and Saturday evenings are the busiest.
