I had a wonderful experience at Huddle House in Alexandria. The food was excellent and the service was just as good. I will definitely go again!
Stopped here for a quick bite before a doctor's appointment. Had to change my order to to-go because it took too long. Got into my vehicle and left before checking my order... Big mistake. Both meals on my order were missing biscuits. Food was good, but that was enough to put me firmly into the "would not recommend" column.
It's so worth the money!! I love their fried pickles and mozzarella sticks. They also have an Oreo sweetcake (as they call it) that I really enjoy. Anyone that goes should also try their stuffed hashbrowns.
I had went in last week to get something to eat. I had wanted to do a carryout order and nobody acknowledged me. The manager stared at me smiling and nobody asked me if i needed help. They acknowledged everybody that came in behind me and was friendly to them. I had to literally ask if somebody was going to help me. Some of the waitresses had attitudes and people kept straing at me like an exhibit in a museum. I was so upset that i started to walk out. I used to go there regularly for breakfast and bragged about the service and food. I do not know what was wrong that day.
It's pretty solid. The service is excellent; our waitress was very attentive and friendly. The food is decent enough, and pretty inexpensive. It's basically IHOP, but maybe slightly better. The pancakes are sort of bland (not as good as Cracker Barrel), and the burger was a bit overcooked (Five Guys is better), but there is a large and varied selection available. We'll probably come back.
