The room as very very nice..smelled clean. The front desk clerk was very attentive. The area around the hotel is quiet and dark but overall, nice place to lay my head. King sized bed was very comfy!
Good value for what you get. Not expensive. Good for a last-minute rest place. Room sort of smelled funky when we got in it, like someone had smoked weed in there previously. Nothing that bad though. Coffee machine in the room is nice, though it's in the bathroom, which is strange. They have TV guide, wifi worked. About what you expect, really.
There's also an outdoor pool, a workout space, and a coin operated guest laundry.
The only real downside is that I haven't found very many nearby restaurants. You have to drive a few minutes down the road to get to the nearest ones.
The Comfort Inn in Alexandria LA was wonderful. We did have the misfortune of being there while they were doing construction on the building. The men worked until after dark, but it wasn't actually that much of a bother except that we were on the first floor and the workers were right near our windows. Other than that, the visit was great. Very friendly staff, clean rooms, affordable price. Will definitely stay again!
Overall solid value for the money, beds are comfy. Rooms and property appear to be well maintained. They do offer a "Happy Hour" in the afternoons M-Th from 530 to 630 that offers snacks, Bud Light, Red and White wine for guests 21 and older.
Touring musicians like Jennifer Westwood look forward to staying here while on the road and performing in the area, with awesome rooms and a great staff, this place has it all! There's a free breakfast in the morning, and plenty of safe parking for tour vehicles. Thank you for taking such great care of our client while under your roof!
