Room was in the corner and particularly small for a Hotel of this distinction. The room was very plain with no decorations at all. The nicest part about the room was the comfortable bed and linens. I am struggling between three and four stars. The restaurant was beautiful and held the historic feel I was searching for. Overall I am pleased but not as happy as expected.
The front desk was very helpful. The guy working brought us up an ironing board and iron. Later we realized we needed a store to buy toothpaste. We asked at front desk for directions, he saved us a trip by giving us some toothpaste right there on the spot. The service at The Mirror Room was excellent as well. We would stay here again for sure!
Alexandria's best bar for young adults into an uptown vibe in the downtown area. Typically "today's hits" playing in the background and a good selection of drinks, though not the cheapest. The lounge setup makes it a nice place to hang out with your friends while throwing a few shots back or even just a beer.
Uniquely old fashioned,but well kept hotel. I like that the basement is a club. Very nice rooms, ball room, and bar.
Most beautiful hotel I have ever seen! Very high class! Fitness gym. Coffee room. Ballrooms. World War 2 mini museum. Grand staircase. Historic hotel. Priced not too high either. Pleasant & helpful staff. Loved it! Definetly going back.
