When first arriving at the hotel, it seemed to be a really nice hotel. There was a mall right next to the hotel and there were a lot of restaurants near the hotel. When I first walked into my room, I was impressed because it was a really decent sized room. But all that changed when I walked into the bathroom and found a dead cockroach on the floor. The next morning while getting ready for work, I felt something tickling my leg and looked down to see a bug crawling up my leg. I went to the front desk and told them about the dead cockroach I had found and the bug that had crawled up my leg, so they moved me to another room, which was just across the hall and one door down. After finding a dead cockroach in the first room, I decided to do a thorough search of this room and found no cockroaches. During the week I stayed there, I had to run the shower for almost 5 minutes before getting in just for there to be lukewarm water so I wouldn't have to take a cold shower. At the end of my stay as I was preparing to check out, I did a final sweep of the room to make sure I didn't forget anything and found a dead cockroach in the closet. As I was checking out I told the front desk clerk about finding the two dead cockroaches I had found during my stay and her response to me was "Well, this is the South", as if that made it ok for there to be cockroaches in guest rooms and one shouldn't be surprised to find cockroaches in one's room because that's the norm in the South.
It was the best hotel I've ever been too. The employees were extremely kind, and generous. I will recommend this hotel to everyone. I'm really looking forward to my next visit.
Enjoyed our 2 night stay. Room was quite. The bed was very very comfy. Room was very clean as were the halls. The free breakfast was a tasty and relaxing treat. We will be back. Thanks for a very pleasant trip.
The hotel is very nice looking, conveniently located along a major strip, and the amenities, plus staff are great! We will be back!!!
